Game set consists of:
- A board
- A Dial (Spinner)
- Pawns (player pieces)
- QUIZLOR question cards
- Amnesty Cards
- Bi-pass cards
- Coins
Game Mechanics
Begin playing at the star; players must proceed from the right hand side of the star. The finish point is the green circle next to the star. The first player to reach the green circle is the winner. The remaining players may continue to play for 2nd or 3rd place if they choose to.
The QUIZLOR Dial is numbered 1 through 20 to determine the order of play. All players must spin the QUIZLOR Dial. The person who lands on the highest number goes first. The person who lands on the second highest number goes second. The order of play will follow in numerical order.
Each player must choose a level of difficulty between easy, medium and hard upon entering a room. Before beginning a game players also have the option of choosing a category. The question cards represent the level of play. The color on the back side of each card determines the difficulty level: green, easy; yellow, medium; red, hard. Players can choose to play one level or play multiple levels at one time. In multi-level games the cards selected will vary from easy, medium and hard.
Question Cards
Each card contains one question with multiple choice answers. The player must answer the question correctly in order to proceed. After the question is answered, the card must be placed on the board facing up. A color circle is located on the bottom of each card indicating which space the player must move to upon answering the question correct. A is on the card indicting the amount of spaces the player must move back upon answering the question incorrect.
Spaces on Quizlor Dial
- Solid Color Spaces – Players must go to the next circle of the same color on the board.
- Select Card Spaces – Players must select a card and answer the question.
- Forward 2 Spaces and Select Card – Players must move forward two (2) spaces, select a card, and answer a question.
- Back 10 Spaces – Players must move back ten (10) spaces.
- Back 5 Spaces – Players must move back five (5) spaces.
- Amnesty/Amnesty Card – Players must pick an Amnesty Card then it’s the next players turn. To gain possession of an Amnesty Card the player must land on the Amnesty section of the QUIZLOR Dial or trade in coins. When a player spins the dial and it lands on Back 10 Spaces or Back 5 Spaces, the player (at the players own discretion) may trade in their amnesty card instead of going back spaces. The player will then remain on the circle that they were on before landing on the back space. It’s then the next players turn.
- Bi-Pass/Bi-Pass Card – Players must pick up a Bi-Pass card then it’s the next players turn. A Bi-Pass card can be obtained by a player landing on the Bi-Pass section of the QUIZLOR Dial or trade in coins. The Bi-Pass Card can ONLY be used when a player selects a card from the pack of questions, regular or bonus question and answers it WRONG. Instead of accepting the penalty of answering the question incorrectly the player will Bi-Pass the punishment by submitting their Bi-Pass Card. The Bi-Pass Card CANNOT be used neither on the Back 5 Spaces nor on the Back 10 Spaces on the QUIZLOR Dial.
